Becoming. Bold.
I create worlds with words. Through these worlds, I notice, so that I learn. Who am I being? Who do I want to be?
Welcome to my blog. I’m Amelia, and I am currently living in Singapore.
I am working with Singapore’s current and future generations of leaders toward a more fair, just, and equal society. I design and facilitate leadership and organization development interventions to actualise the potential of people, teams and organisations.
PS. The content on this blog is common property. I would love for you to share and use it if you have found it helpful. It would be great if you could inform me prior. I would be very glad to hear from you!
Current Focus
What am I doing right now?
Designing a system that helps me to focus and align my priorities and actions, tracking them. Focus and Alignment is my theme for 2023.
Journeying inward to understand myself, so that i can be a more effective instrument of change.
Connecting with others through a shared language and practice: I regularly run and/or participate sharing circles as spaces for reflection amongst my friends. My areas of interest include Gestalt, Enneagram, Polarity Thinking, Circling.
I love singing, and am practicing Krav Maga currently! :) I try a different sport every year. My all-time favourite is yoga.
Values
“Values are like fingerprints. Nobody’s the same, but you leave them all over everything you do.”
Health. I value and care for the health of individuals, organisations and society and it fuels my ambition, learning and growth. Broadly, health can refer to physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual parts of ourselves.
Belonging. I value being part of something bigger but also having the courage to stand alone, and to belong to yourself above all else.
Self-expression. I value self-expression, as i think it’s plays a huge part in creating a sense of belonging - having the courage to speak my truth, though it’s uncomfortable. Using my voice. This blog is a manifestation of it.
